This position is responsible to the Assistant Director of Residence Life for assisting with the supervision and administration of the Residence Life program serving approximately 1600 students. This is a live-in position and responsibilities include supervising, counseling, conflict resolution, program development, fostering community, promoting an academic connection, facilities management and the administration of the University student accountability process.
The Assistant Coordinator will serve as part of the on-call duty rotation and assist in departmental initiatives including RA Recruitment, selection and training, and be highly involved in administrative tasks. The Assistant Coordinator may oversee and supervise the daily operation of a residence hall, including the direct supervision of up to 8 Resident Assistants (RAs).
Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. This is a 20 hour a weeklive-in position.
