Job Overview

Milestone is looking for a Technical Product Manager to support our client's Wireless MVNO / Wholesale business. The Technical Product Manager will play a pivotal role in collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. The role will encompass defining product capabilities, features, and requirements while crafting acceptance criteria and test scenarios. Additionally, the TPM will review both functional and technical designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Beyond these essential duties, the role will actively contribute to streamlining critical business functions such as partner onboarding, service activation, billing, and service support. The technical product manager will help drive the creation of comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria, fostering efficient project execution.

Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and Wholesale Partners to define and align internal and commercial capabilities and services.



  • Define and document product capabilities, features, requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and alignment with business goals.



  • Create and oversee product test conditions and scenarios, ensuring solutions meet defined standards and are ready for implementation.



  • Review functional and technical designs created by the technical project team to ensure alignment with product requirements and partner needs.



  • Lead the onboarding of new partners by gathering requirements, providing guidance, and supporting the operational integration process for an optimized experience.



  • Manage expectations and provide regular updates to partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.



  • Engage with partners to assess performance, identify pain points, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery and operational efficiency.



  • Partner closely with Engineering and IT teams to design solutions that balance technical requirements with business priorities.



  • Work onsite at the client site at least three days per week to maintain a strong presence and facilitate in-person collaboration.





Required Hard Skills and Experience:




  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Product Management or related role, ideally with experience in MVNO, telecommunications, or networking industries.



  • Understanding of common business functions in the Wireless Industry (e.g., partner onboarding, account and service activation, customer billing, service support, deactivation).



  • Understanding of Customer Billing and common Billing functions.



  • Awareness of the role the Cellular Network plays in providing service to wholesale customers.



  • Strong technical understanding of network engineering concepts and how they relate to product requirements.



  • Experience creating User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for new product features and enhancements.



  • Versed in Agile methodology, ceremonies, and terminology.



  • UI Design experience with web-based apps and digital forms (preferably).



  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Pages.



  • Prior experience using JIRA for creating and tracking requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.





Desired Hard Skills:




  • Hands-on experience with partner onboarding, especially in a wholesale or MVNO context.



  • Background in business operations, particularly within telecommunications or similar industries.



  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, and external partners





Soft Skills:




  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.



  • Proven ability to identify and solve complex challenges.



  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.



  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving ability.



  • Strong critical thinking skills.





Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: $115,500.00 - $135,000.00 USD

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
