CVPICU

Join our team for a 13-week assignment with every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) shifts. The primary unit is the PICU, but you may float to Pediatrics and NICU if needed for an appropriate assignment. Please confirm floating with the traveler. Additional float units may be required based on your skill set and hospital needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU critical care experience with at least 1 year of cardiac experience, both documented on a skills checklist.
• Competency in caring for CT patients with ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF, s/p cardiac cath and ablations, cardiac transplant, and post-cardiac surgery.
• Experience with healthcare pacemakers and Tele monitoring required.
• Proficiency in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, and trachs required.
• Patient ratio is 1:2 (confirm with traveler).
• 19 beds on the unit.
• BLS & PALS certifications required; NRP preferred.
• Familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
• First-time travelers are not accepted.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
