CVPICU

Join our team for a 13-week assignment with every other weekend required (Sat/Sun). The primary unit is PICU, with potential float to Pediatrics and NICU based on needs and skill set. Additional float units may be assigned as necessary.

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU critical care experience with at least 1 year of cardiac experience, both documented on a skills checklist.
• Competence in caring for CT patients with conditions such as ASD, VSD, AV Canal Defect, Valve replacements, Glenn and Fontan procedures, TOF, post cardiac cath and ablations, cardiac transplant, and post cardiac surgery.
• Experience with healthcare pacemakers and tele monitoring required.
• Proficiency in BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care required.
• Patient Ratio: 1:2 (to be confirmed with traveler).
• 19 beds on the unit.
• BLS & PALS certifications required; NRP preferred.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system.
• First-time travelers are not accepted.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
