Overview:

The role of the Health Screening Specialist is on-site Health Risk Assessments as a member of the HRA team. Knowledge and skilled technique while performing blood pressure, pulse, body composition and phlebotomy. Phlebotomy skills required. Participates in processing of HRA, screening, or class paperwork. Ability to complete training and perform a variety of Health Screening procedures including Urine Drug Screens, Hearing Testing, Vision Testing, Pulmonary Function Testing, EKGs, and Respirator Fit Testing. Promote additional wellness services while on-site with a detailed knowledge of services and products offered by Corporate Health and Wellness. Allow for flexible hours including early mornings, on-site travel to out-of-town locations, and accommodating multiple shifts and locations for contracted companies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Health-related field or Certified Medical Assistant. Job experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

  • Experience: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous medical testing and/or phlebotomy experience.

  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support certification within 90-day probationary period.

  • Other: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Allow for flexible hours including early mornings, on-site travel to out-of-town locations, and accommodating multiple shifts and locations for contracted companies. Drive Corporate Health vehicle on-site for testing and obtain Chauffeur's License within 4 weeks of start date.
