Job Summary

Welcome to the payment party! Join our dynamic team as we navigate the exciting world of payment applications. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes handling exceptions, boosting auto-cash rates, and posting payments with superhero speed. If you've got a high school diploma, a knack for collaboration, and can dance with deadlines, this is your ticket to the finance funhouse! This role is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform payment exception handling within HighRadius environment
  • Use tools within HighRadius to help increase auto-cash hit rate such as remittance linking and payment tagging
  • Post high-volume of lockbox payments (ACH and check) using HighRadius, Bank of America website, and SAP based on remittance information.
  • Post payments received at a high daily application rate with superior accuracy and minimal errors.
  • Read, decipher, and process payments with extensive remittance detail.
  • Assist team members with new or complicated applications.
  • Communicate discrepancies with AR Regional Specialists to assist in timely customer account maintenance and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required, Associate Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel and Outlook proficiency
  • SAP experience preferred
  • HighRadius experience a plus
  • Previous high volume and complex A/R payment processing preferred
  • Ability to manage time to deliver within deadlines and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to associates at all levels of the organization, emphasizing customer service
  • Ability to effectively perform as part of a team
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to understand how role contributes to the success of the wider business
  • Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to accept change, be innovative and self-motivated
  • Willingness to work additional hours at period-end in order to meet close deadline
