Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $53,100 - $188,200. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The person selected for this position will work closely with the principal investigator to: UC Irvine is one of ten campuses of the highly regarded University of California system. Applicants should hold an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computational Biology or Statistics/Computer Science with an emphasis in bioinformatics, computational biology or statistical genetics. The applicant should be familiar with R, and have previous experience with running analysis pipelines in Unix on a high performance compute cluster, programming in R programming language, analysis of sequencing data, especially single-cell sequencing data.
