The Staff Nurse will be responsible for: - Providing care for patients at the BWH main campus - Telephone Triage of OBGYN Patients - Communicating with and providing nursing care to OBGYN Patients via Patient Gateway - Birth Control Counseling - Nurse Visits to administer injections and/or provide patient education on OBGYN topics - Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment Brigham and Women's Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is committed to supporting patient care, research, teaching, and service to the community. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED The RN must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients. Must demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities. Must be able to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.
