Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Systems Engineering Integration Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec seeks a motivated Systems Engineering Integration Engineer to support advanced platform development and fielding. You will be an integral part of a collaborative and dynamic team of government and contractor engineers tasked to integrate essential technologies and Ensure the systems meet the demands of modern battlefield conditions. This individual will employ Agile hardware development methodologies to accelerate the lifecycle development and promote and improve rapid iteration and fielding.

Serve as Systems Engineer and key contributor to an Integrated Product Team (IPT) or in a group of engineers and technical personnel engaged in the management and execution of one or more life cycle phases of systems development. Responsibilities on assigned projects include the following:

    Integration Support: Assist in the integration of payloads, datalinks, communications systems, avionics, and launchers onto LE platforms.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical assessments to evaluate system compatibility, performance, and adherence to military standards and specifications.
  • System Analysis: Analyze system designs and architectures to identify potential integration issues and recommend solutions.
  • Requirements Analysis: Review and analyze system requirements to ensure they are complete, consistent, and testable.
  • Agile Implementation: Participate in Agile development sprints, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Documentation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation, including interface control documents, design specifications, and technical reports.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with government and contractor personnel, fostering a strong and collaborative team environment.
  • Conduct system analysis to identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
  • Analyze simulation data to identify trends, insights, and potential improvements.


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience performing systems engineering activities within an Army activity
  • Working knowledge of unmanned aircraft systems or related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with requirements analysis and system design.
  • Knowledge of relevant military standards and specifications.
  • Travel: 10 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems) from an accredited institution
