This leadership role is tailored for a visionary communicator passionate about environmental stewardship. The CCO will manage both internal communications within the Riverscapes Consortium (https://riverscapes.net) and external communications, actively engaging practitioners, end-users, researchers, and policymakers to foster collaborative relationships and amplify our impact within the riverscapes community. The CCO will be hosted by the Riverscapes Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) Lab at Utah State University, a founding member of the Riverscapes Consortium (http://www.riverscapes.net/). The focus will be on promoting the broader international collaboration among Riverscapes Consortium communities (https://www.riverscapes.net/people), rather than on USU or RAM specifically. We seek a creative and charismatic leader, skilled in science communication, to enhance and expand the Riverscapes Consortium communities, while improving user experiences with our products (https://www.riverscapes.net/page/discover). The ideal candidate will possess a background in professional communications, public relations, or marketing, complemented by experience in science communication, facilitation, community organizing, and outreach.
