Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Recruiter to lead the end-to-end recruitment process for senior leadership roles. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational strategy, enabling talent acquisition to align with the company's strategic engagement goals. As a key partner, the Executive Recruiter will work closely with both the Talent Acquisition team and the Strategic Engagement function to ensure that executive hires advance organizational priorities and foster strategic relationships.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Executive Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for C-suite, VP, and senior leadership.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract and secure high-caliber talent for placement.
- Strategic Alignment:
- Collaborate with the Strategic Engagement team and Odyssey senior leaders to understand and incorporate organizational priorities into recruitment strategies and execution.
- Seek, identify and actively engage with candidates who will meet organizational and leadership needs while contributing to Odyssey's exceptional performance and long-term strategic goals.
- Participate in strategic workforce planning initiatives anticipating future leadership needs.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build close, trusted relationships with senior leaders and hiring manager. Provide guidance and insights while building lasting relationships throughout hiring processes and beyond.
- Work with Strategic Engagement team members to leverage executive hires in broader partnership and collaboration opportunities.
- Candidate Experience:
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and a thoughtful recruitment process.
- Market Insights:
- Provide market intelligence on talent trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitive analysis.
- Share insights with Strategic Engagement to inform broader organizational strategy.
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Years of Experience: At least eight (8) or more years of experience in executive recruiting, preferably in a corporate or search firm environment. Preferred Qualifications Clearance: Secret Clearance Education: Master's degree in Business Administration or related field Certifications: PHR, CIR, etc. Technical Skills
- Proven track record of candidate headhunting and successful hiring of senior executives.
- Must be very conversant and experienced in candidate identification and tracking tools.
- Proven ability to align talent acquisition strategies and business objectives, with positive results.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, particularly with members of senior leadership teams and potential candidates.
- Flexible to working in a matrixed organization environment with dynamic reporting structure.
- Familiarity with strategic engagement, corporate growth strategy engagement and long-term partnership initiatives.
- Ability to align recruitment efforts with long-term organizational goals.
- Experience contributing to multiple business units in an evolving, growing business a plus.
Interpersonal Skills
- Must be a strategic thinker and a detailed, organized planner.
- Strong cross-functional partnership, particularly with Strategic Engagement and senior leadership.
- Skilled at gaining buy-in from multiple stakeholders to formulate optimum solutions.
- Must be adaptable, forward leaning, comfortable navigating and guiding amidst some ambiguity to forge patterned plans while being flexible to evolving priorities.
- Must be dynamic, personable and transparent with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Additional Information Travel:
- Up to 20% travel to job fairs, networking events, and client sites.
- May involve evening and weekend work to meet recruitment goals and deadlines.
