Position Description

The Document Controller manages the processes contained in the QMS. The document controller is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents that embody Sundyne's QMS. They control the filing, storing, retrieval and review of both electronic and hard copy documents produced for projects or departments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the ISO9001:2015 document control program
  • Reviews existing quality documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Reviews requests for changes by process owners or suggests changes as needed
  • Manages periodic document review schedule
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards
  • Releases and publishes documentation upon approval
  • Documents relevant changes made to the documents in the document index
  • Represents Sundyne to internal/external audits
  • Scan and upload documents according to company procedure
  • Manage requests for hard copy documents
  • File digital records and ensure appropriate storage
  • Manage the processes around documentation within the organization
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation

  • Support Program Management to ensure customer records are accurate and complete

  • Process and detail oriented

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including outlook, excel and word

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient typing skills

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
  • Indoor environment. Sitting, standing, and walking are common.
  • Reading, listening, and talking are common.

Compensation Details

Annual Salary: $62,000.00 - $80,000.00
