Job Summary

The Sr Analyst PM will be supporting our key strategic projects and delivery of data and analytics solutions to clients. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in project management, data analytics, and client-facing communication. The ideal candidate will support timely and effective delivery of data-driven solutions, assist in managing the lifecycle of multiple projects from inception to completion while serving as a keypoint of contact for clients.

The Team:

This role sits within the Data Analytics & Insights Team within Optimum Media. Our team incorporates data engineering, data management, data onboarding, data analysis, and business insights in one group. We are the data specialists that ensure the highest operational efficiency of reporting, analytics, and insights within the organization and for our most important clients.

Responsibilities
  • Partners with business units to perform requirements gathering and documentation of Data Analytics projects across all of Optimum Media's verticals
  • Assist with understanding and planning for changes in project scope, workplans, and delivery timelines and effectively manage expectations with stakeholders and clients
  • Drive clarity in project scope with business partners and clients
  • Performs analysis of business processes and metrics; documents the status quo e.g., in flow charts, gantt charts, other visuals
  • Tracks, forecasts and reports on project progress, identify project dependencies/roadblocks, prioritizes work for developers
  • Research and coordinate feasibility analysis for proposed projects
  • Translate high level business requirements into specifications for Insights and technical team
  • Drive innovation within the team by applying creative approaches to ensure quality and leading-edge insights and analytics
Qualifications
  • 2-3 yrs of experience with project management/coordination preferred
  • Experience working withdata analytics teams preferred
  • 1-2 yrs business/data analyst experience (writing up business requirements/documentation/building dashboards, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with external clients, internal cross-functional teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Team oriented and collaborative approach with a demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new methods and tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.), etc. (Data Visualization tools and SQL a plus)
  • Media experience, Data or Analytics degree preferred

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $92,534.00-$152,021.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
