The Manager of Colleague and Leadership Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that enhance colleague engagement, professional development, and leadership effectiveness across all levels of the organization. This role ensures alignment with Empath Health's mission, values, and commitment to Full Life Care for all. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of colleague and leadership development programs, including onboarding, leadership pipelines, and career pathing initiatives.
- Manage All Colleague Orientation to ensure a seamless and engaging onboarding experience aligned with organizational values and mission.
- Oversee leadership development programming tailored to different leadership levels (e.g., early career, mid-level, and executive leaders) with a focus on building functional, business, and communication competencies.
- Incorporate leadership competencies such as process improvement, change management, empathetic communication, equity, and innovation into all leadership development programming.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Talent Optimization to drive succession planning by identifying high-potential colleagues and aligning development plans with organizational needs and individual career aspirations.
- Provide targeted leadership development opportunities, including access to mentorship and coaching, based on leadership levels and identified competencies.
- Collaborate with executive and operational leadership to assess and address organizational development needs.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Residency Director to partner with academic institutions and community organizations to enhance strategic partnerships, including residency programs and professional certification opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a team of development facilitators, coordinators, and trainers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate learning and development initiatives into broader organizational strategies.
- Develop and track metrics to evaluate the impact of development programs on colleague engagement, leadership readiness, and organizational performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on progress, outcomes, and opportunities forimprovement.
- Champion the Inspired Experience philosophy, enhancing interactions between colleagues, patients, and families.
- Facilitate initiatives to strengthen cultural integration and engagement during organizational transitions and mergers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or education. Experience working in a leadership role preferred.
- An equivalent combination of professional experience and education may be considered as meeting the Education/Professional requirements.

Technical Skills
- Proven ability to design and lead innovative training and development programs.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
- Intermediate or Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid work environment with occasional travel to organizational locations.
- May require extended hours during program launches or critical initiatives.
- Employee must sign a Business Protection Agreement.
