Product Owner

CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Product Owner to join our talented Enterprise IT team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

About the role:

Under general supervision, this role supports the life cycle of a portfolio of products being designed and implemented for firm use. Support's the design and testing process to ensure that the product functions appropriately and meets the needs of the firm and end-users. Assists in the collaboration and communication cross-functionally between internal stakeholders and product designers to ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements.

As a Product Owner, you will:

• Assist in defining and prioritizing product features and requirements that align with business goals and customer needs.
• Support decisions regarding product features, functionality, and user experience.
• Assist in developing and adapting the product vision, writing new user stories, and specifying acceptance of each user story.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist in the creation and communication of requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements.
• Participate in monitoring and evaluating product performance, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Assist in market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and growth.
• Support the execution of product deliverables that meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

What you will need:

• 2+ years of relevant experience as a Product Owner.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Scrum Product Owner or Agile certification preferred.

Technical Competencies:

• Basic understanding of IT development and technical concepts.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and design thinking.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
