We have an opportunity for a temporary Warehouse Technician to join our White Bear Lake, MN team. You will prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, receiving inbound shipments, pulling finished goods, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area for pickup.

You will:

• Drive power equipment such as: tugger machine, cherry picker, swing forklift, etc.
• Keep lines supplied with material in a timely manner
• Support and champion material flow efforts, including, but not limited to, tugger routes
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Read and understand Bill of Materials.
• Communicate work progress between shifts.
• Participate in Process Improvement projects and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safe work environment by enforcing safety policies.
• Store received materials in proper warehouse locations and pull stock to return to correct location
• Attend assigned meetings, working with cross functional teams, as a representative of the Warehouse group.
• Maintain an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format/form.
• Cross train to help other warehouse areas.

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment
• Prior warehouse experience
• Basic familiarity with computer, measuring tools and scales
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
• Sound analytical skills relative to problem solving, proven leadership skills and good interpersonal skills
• Physical & Mental Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Position requires standing for entire shift and working OT to meet business demands.

Shift/Hours:

• 1st shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $19.00 - $21.00. DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
