POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior-level Power Platform Developer will be responsible for translating complex functional and technical requirements into custom design and development of Microsoft Power Platform-based applications. They will create engaging end-user experiences using low-code development technologies that leverage the modern experience in SharePoint online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. In this role, they will utilize technical leads in developing plans, estimation, and code and design reviews. They will work on projects that meet challenges in modern business operation workflow, collaborating with your team to build automated business processes and sites in SharePoint and M365 with user centric design. As a Senior-level Power Platform Developer, they will apply expertise in app development and analytics best practices to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements.

Founded in 1918, Okland Construction operates as a regional general contracting and construction management company with now nearly 1,000 employees and growing. It supervises the architectural, engineering, bidding, contracting, building, inspection from the beginning to the end of the project and specializes in concrete self-preform on large commercial scale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Deliver services and solutions for Okland's employees and clients as part of the Power Platform Team using the suite of Microsoft's PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dynamics, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.
  • Be responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand user pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
  • Installation and configuration of data gateways; connect to organization data sources to develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
  • Work in an Agile team setting in tools such as Jira or Clickup for task tracking and documentation.
  • Review team members code, architecture, and documentation to provide feedback.
  • Create system design documents and architectures.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience. An additional 6 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong .NET development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a SharePoint Site Owner and/or Site Collection Administrator.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI, Teams and SharePoint Online.
  • Prior experience with SOA/web services design and programming; ASP.NET MVC and JavaScript.
  • Preferred Qualifications - Candidates with these preferred skills will be given preferential consideration.
  • Experience developing business applications with PowerApps and Power Automate, Power BI.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Azure platform services.
  • Experience with C#, Visual Basic for Scripting.
  • Experience with additional ANA
