Job Description
We are currently hiring a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Lead, CAPEX and Facilities in Breinigsville, PA. We're hiring a Senior Strategic Sourcing Lead to join our Procurement team at Boston Beer Company. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing category management and strategic sourcing strategies that drive commercial growth and profitability. You'll lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and implement best-in-class procurement practices to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across CAPEX and Facilities categories. Note: This is a hybrid position requiring residence within commuting distance to be onsite per team schedule. What You'll Brew: * Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to identify risks and opportunities. * Develop and maintain comprehensive category strategies using the 9-step methodology. * Maintain deep knowledge of global supply markets, competitors, and innovations. * Establish and track supplier performance metrics to ensure optimal service and pricing. * Lead stakeholder meetings to review service levels, supply updates, and cost-saving initiatives. * Own all activities and processes related to CAPEX and Facilities categories. * Design and execute sourcing strategies using market analysis, benchmarking, and negotiation tactics. * Collaborate with stakeholders to draft Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage RFx events. * Leverage eSourcing tools to analyze spend data and drive competitive sourcing. * Lead contract negotiations with a focus on TCO, legal compliance, and stakeholder alignment. * Demonstrated experience sourcing and negotiating large-scale CAPEX projects is essential. * Serve as the primary contact for supplier issues and resolution. * Drive strategic supplier relationships and lead business reviews. * Define and track KPIs and SLAs to ensure continuous improvement. * Promote a culture of performance, accountability, and innovation among suppliers. * Manage all contractual relationships and documentation with suppliers. * Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with commercial and legal terms. * Independently manage MSAs and amendments using contract management tools. * Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. * Lead cross-functional projects to implement new systems and processes. * Represent Procurement in change initiatives and process improvements. * Create and manage Purchase Orders as needed for timely acquisitions. . What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications Experience: * 6+ years of relevant professional experience in category management, sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management, risk management, and/or project management. * Direct experience managing CAPEX procurement is required. * Strong digital dexterity and ability to leverage technology for collaboration. * Proficient in data analysis, market research, and spend analytics. * Advanced negotiation and contract compliance skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). * Strong program and project management experience. * Demonstrated success in leading organizational change Level: 5 At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $85,800 and $135,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset, and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
