Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced SDP Cloud Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based IoT platforms and services. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end architecture, scalability, and security of IoT cloud solutions while ensuring seamless device connectivity, data processing, and cloud integration. drive proof of concept for new technologies and provide technical leadership. Key Accountabilities
* Design, develop and maintain cloud systems preferably in Java/GO languages
* Collaborate with third-party cloud providers to integrate their systems seamlessly.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
* Defining the overall cloud strategy and roadmap, aligning it with business objectives.
* Identifying cloud adoption opportunities and prioritizing initiatives
* Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure cloud success. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
* Proven leadership experience in managing cloud teams, architecting microservices, and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
* Hands-on experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Strong technical leadership and mentoring experience, guiding engineering teams.
* Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, system engineers, and business stakeholders.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Deep understanding of designing, deploying, and managing scalable microservices-based systems.
* Expertise in AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda), Azure (AKS, Functions), or GCP (GKE, Cloud Functions).
* Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and service mesh technologies.
* Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and API gateways.
* Start-up environment experience is beneficial.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
* Security & Compliance - Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, security best practices, compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
* Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, New Relic).
* Ability to perform code reviews Working Conditions
