Senior Business Analyst

This is a remote role that may be hired in the following locations: AZ, CT, FL, GA, IN, ME, MI, NV or NC

This position is responsible for analysis at the highest level of complexity and data and reporting expertise. Assesses a wide scope of factors affecting business profitability, growth, and efficiency, and aids strategic initiatives to address identified issues. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements reports and dashboards leveraging analytical tools. Participates in special analytical projects and advanced technical reporting. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.

• Identifying Business Objectives - Determines business needs through highly technical analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve project goals, and communicates these through the use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
• Reporting - Delivers intelligence & insights to end-users and key stakeholders through execution of the data visualization lifecycle, which includes but is not limited to:
• Operational Support - Provides expert support for stakeholders by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business analysis through new or enhanced reporting. Handles escalated matters that arise, providing guidance to other team members. Develops and implements modifications and enhancements. Serves as a subject matter expert to wider organization or business units.

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting
• License or Certification Type: Tableau Specialist Certification and/or Tableau Desktop Associate Certification preferred
• Skill(s): Proficient in SAS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, JIRA and Confluence experience. SQL and Tableau experience highly preferred.
