The Weitz Company is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver to be based out of our West Palm Beach, FL.

A Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for distributing products promptly to our customers. They will be representing our company professionally and cost-effectively to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. The ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, as well as pre-employment physical + drug/alcohol screening is also required.

What You'll Do:



  • Deliver a wide variety of construction items to different addresses
  • Comply with DOT regulations (i.e. trailer weight/load restrictions, equipment maintenance)
  • Ensure equipment and tools are delivered timely to project sites to maximize productivity and in a cost-effective manner
  • Provide, or obtain, equipment certifications
  • Operate equipment to load/unload trucks, rearrange items, and perform other tasks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • The ability to lift 50lbs
  • Small equipment maintenance experience required



What We're Looking For:



  • Education: A high school diploma is required. Forklift Certification is required, or the willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Experience: Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver and/or warehouse associate is required. Experience working in a construction-related atmosphere is preferred.
  • Technology: Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The employee should have the ability to learn other specific software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, warehouse software, etc.).
  • Skills: A qualified candidate will demonstrate analytical, leadership, and organizational skills. They should also show strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication, time management, flexibility, problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
