Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery Unit, as well as circulate the OBED. This role will be Full-time Night Shift: 5 shifts per two weeks: 3x12 hour shifts one week, and 2x12 hour shifts the second week;. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. Minimum Qualifications:
* Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. * Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship. * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire * Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license Preferred Qualifications: * Two years of recent inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) experience on a Labor and Delivery Unit. * Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
