GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under minimal supervision, facilitates the transfer of patients to Henry Ford Health in a safe, successful and efficient manner.
• Coordinates all aspects of patient transfers.
• Utilizes clinical expertise to prioritize patient transfers based upon urgency/acuity, mode of transportation (ground or air), transfer care, quality assessment, etc.
• Evaluates and coordinates the flow process of taking calls and facilitating the acceptance/triage of calls throughout the transfer center.
• May perform the duties and responsibilities of the Bed Management RN.

* Position: Contingent/RN
* Shift: Midnights

* Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations

Training will take place at the Elijah McCoy Building and although a remote role there may be times when coming on site is required as part of the remote work agreement.
