Start your journey as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) at Cinch Connectivity Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overall Supplier Quality Support for the Reynosa and McAllen Facility's suppliers. The SQE works to continuously improve the performance of supplied components, assemblies, and outsourced processes. This position requires leadership skills that will enable the SQE to drive improvement projects as it pertains to the supply base.

Are You Looking to


  • Promote continuous improvement techniques at suppliers to reduce variability, achieve process control, lower costs, and improve PPM (Parts per Million) performance.
  • Develop and implement metrics to monitor and evaluate supply base capabilities, including Non-Conformance Tracking and Supplier Quality Scorecard.
  • Conduct Supplier Quality Audits.
  • Lead/Participate in multifunctional teams in investigating and resolving non-conformities, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with internal technical functions to address and improve product quality issues at the supplier level.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all open action items with suppliers.

Are You Ready to


  • Maintain supplier management strategies to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Prepare and present quarterly Supplier Performance ratings, offering improvement recommendations and leading improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support to design engineering in vendor part qualification.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective communication channels with suppliers, teams, departments, customers, and vendors.

What You'll Need


  • B.S. in an engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Must be bilingual, able to speak, read, and write English and Spanish.
  • Able to work at McAllen facility and Reynosa, Mexico facility.

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
