Supreme Rice is searching for a Supervisor Mill Operations or Head Miller at our location in Crawfordsville, Arkansas. The Head Miller is responsible for running the daily milling operations, managing mill personnel, and continuously improving manufacturing output. Duties Supervise a team of 3-5 employees in making grade on rice quality, speed, safety and efficiency. Maintain workflow by monitoring the production process, equipment and personnel. Identify areas of success and opportunity to control production efficiency, manufacturing variances, and labor expenses. Ensure volume and quality requirements are met. Responsible for skill and development of the staff, performance management and employee morale. Provide team with the information, training, direction, guidance and resources necessary to accomplish objectives. Provide manufacturing information by compiling and analyzing production performance records and data. Ensure volume and quality requirements are met. Qualifications Must have at least 8 years managerial experience.and familiar with manufacturing No experience in milling needed - we will train Supreme Rice headquarters is located in Crowley, Louisiana - the heart of the Southwest Louisiana Rice Region.
