We are currently seeking a Infrastructure Engineer - Dallas, Texas to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

This position is hybrid with three days minimum per week on site at our client's office in Dallas, Texas

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Infrastructure Engineer will perform development activities as it relates to Linux Server OS, product integration, and deploying solutions to provisioning platforms using Satellite, YUM, Ansible or Terraform.
• Collaborating with Agile Product Owners, all project work will be assigned based on requirements, priority, and availability, this will include working with various internal business partners to engineer and deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient.
• They will also work on solutions with peer teams and vendors to deploy new Red Hat OS products, services, and iterations, as it relates to the FHP organization.
• The Engineer should have a strong grasp of associated technologies such as patching, os builds, storage, network, and out of band management devices.
• The candidate will be responsible for completing designs and engineering for tools and services.
• Work with the team to help identifying and certifying new products, providing "how to" documentation for the enterprise and deployment automation.
• This engineer will be called upon regularly to produce automated solution using Shell Scripting, Python, and\or Ansible.
• The engineer will be available to provide 3rd level support for deployed FHP Red Hat products and services when needed.

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Minimum five years of Red Hat Server OS implementation experience
• Minimum two years of experience managing enterprise High Availability Platforms (Clustering)
• Minimum three years of Ansible development and implementation
• Minimum three years as a Senior developer with experience in Shell Scripting, Python, and/or Ansible
• Minimum three years years of server virtualization experience
• Minimum three years years of physical server experience
• Minimum three years years of experience with logging, monitoring, and event detection on cloud or distributed platforms

Other Desired Qualifications:

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Packer and/or similar OS Build Tools
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile team environment
• 2+ years of technology system integration
• 2+ years of application or software and infrastructure testing activities with full project level engagement involving all aspects of SDLC and STLC (Software Development or Testing Life Cycle)
• At least one year of production implementation on a major cloud platform (i.e., AWS, GCP, Azure)
