A well-known and industry leading medical capital management group is looking for a Physical Therapy Coordinator to join the team. If you have experience in performing insurance verification and appointment scheduling then you will be highly considered!
***Contract Position slated to last until September with possibility of extension*** Compensation: $21/hour Location: North Chelmsford, MA Hours: 7:45-4:30 or 5:00 5 days/week in office Practice: Orthopedics Responsibilities include: Primary Scheduling Point Representative: Maintain appointment computer scheduling in accordance with office scheduling policies for all Physical Therapy, including: Scheduling patients in person at the office. Calling to pre-schedule surgical patients for physical therapy. Administrative Support: Contacting/ interacting with appropriate people and facilities, such as physician offices, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, etc. regarding patient care. Liaison between partner offices. Handle call volume with accuracy and efficiency for Physical Therapy and chart coordination and preparation. Verify patient insurance benefits and referrals/authorizations available. Perform other administrative support as required. On-Site Clinic Location Back-Up: Check in / Check Out patients; verify and update all demographic and insurance information and collection of co-payments resulting in proper cash reconciliation. Other duties as assigned by managers and leads.
