Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world.

The Opportunity

Join us as a Sustainability Intern and be a vital part of our A Healthy Planet Project, which is an essential component of Roche Centroamerica Caribe y Venezuela (Roche CCAV) Pharma Division's Sustainable Strategy. This initiative is at the forefront of our commitment to sustainability and innovation, ensuring a healthier future for our planet and society.

You will:

  • Execute activities and initiatives related to the A Healthy Planet Project.

  • Follow up on experiments and project-related tasks.

  • Draft written reports, minutes, and other documents.

  • Create and edit forms, presentations, and databases.

  • Read and extract key information critical for the project's success.

  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders, providing recommendations and contributing to discussions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance project goals and objectives.

Who You Are:

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor's studies at a university, preferably in the field of Administration, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, and Biology within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

  • You are proactive, curious, and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset and strong collaborative skills.

Required:

  • An advanced student with strong academic standing.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Proactive attitude with a growth mindset and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication abilities and writing skills.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

  • Interest in environmental topics.

Preferred:

  • Experience in project management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical details:

  • The start date for the internship is between 1st and 16th of July 2025.

  • Duration (3 months), work term (full-time with flexibility to attend classes if you are a student).

  • Location: Based in San Jose, Costa Rica.

  • Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 2 days in the office).
