This opportunity is a paid, hybrid internship that requires candidates to live in the Greater Austin area.

The internship is part-time 15-20 hours per week and begins in May 2025.

This internship will support RapidDeploy's marketing strategy through events, communications, demand generation and digital marketing strategies. We're looking for a creative, passionate, and data-driven team player who is ready to help us amplify the RapidDeploy brand and drive business growth.

This intern will be essential to developing and implementing marketing campaigns and is the perfect opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in event marketing, lead generation, and social media communications. You will have the opportunity to learn a wide array of strategic and tactical skills from an experienced and diverse team of talented marketing professionals while building a stellar resume/portfolio that includes popular marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Webflow, Canva, and more.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in planning local and regional third-party events across small, medium, and large-scale tradeshows.

  • Research upcoming brand marketing initiatives such as events, executive speaking opportunities, customer and prospect engagements, etc.

  • Contribute content for a variety of programs and channels, including email, social, and blog.

  • Coordinate marketing and event communications with sales and other internal stakeholders.

  • Support HubSpot (Marketing Automation Platform) database management and the lead lifecycle.

  • Update website content using Webflow program

  • Track inventory of company merchandise, along with organizing and executing merchandise shipments, lifting up to fifty (50) pounds is required.

  • Travel locally to conduct company business (i.e., event management logistics and coordination of last-minute shipments).

Our ideal Intern will possess the following:

  • Ability to work 15-20 hours during the summer semester in a hybrid role both remote and in our Austin office (ideally into the fall semester as well)

  • Desire to learn about marketing and sales platforms

  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Data-driven with a passion for analytics

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint, and creative software, including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and iPhoto

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion and provide individual mode of transportation

  • Video editing background a plus
