ABOUT THE UNIT:

The Radiation Therapy Assistant supports Radiation Therapists and the clinical team by preparing patients for treatment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring the efficiency of daily operations in the Radiation Oncology department. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality patient care and operational workflow. Additionally, this position is designed as a steppingstone for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Radiation Therapist, with opportunities for mentorship, hands-on experience, and support in advancing toward a Radiation Therapy program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School or Equivalent REQUIRED

Candidates pursuing or interested in a career in Radiation Therapy are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Prior experience in radiation therapy or imaging services preferred
