Job Description

As a Technical Writer supporting AI and platform products, you will play a critical role in translating complex, cutting-edge technologies into clear, compelling, and actionable content for both technical and executive audiences.

You'll work closely with leaders in AI Application Development, Insight-Centric UX, Data Platform, and Engineering Support to craft technical documentation, customer-facing guides, internal strategy memos, and enablement materials that drive clarity, alignment, and impact across the organization.

This is not just about writing documentation - it's about turning innovation into understanding. Your audience includes everyone from engineers and researchers to executives and Fortune 500 customers.

Key Responsibilities Technical Communication & Documentation
Write clear, concise, and technically accurate documents across a range of formats: white papers, solution briefs, runbooks, API references, architecture diagrams, product walkthroughs, RCA reports, and more.
  • Document advanced AI/ML architectures, agent-based user experiences, and complex support escalation workflows.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to understand and communicate the "why" and "how" behind product decisions and system behavior.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Embed with teams across AI, infrastructure, support, and design to gather technical insights and ensure content accuracy.
  • Help standardize language and messaging across cross-functional groups to improve knowledge flow and communication efficiency.
  • Assist with the development of internal wikis, knowledge bases, and onboarding materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
AI-Aware Authoring
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., LLMs, summarizers, prompt optimizers, diagram generators) to accelerate drafting, formatting, and validation.
  • Help define prompt libraries and documentation around agent behavior, user queries, and explainability features.
  • Collaborate on content for AI-driven interfaces - including tooltips, agent responses, and guided interaction flows.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in technical writing, product documentation, or technical communication for enterprise software, AI systems, or infrastructure platforms.
  • Ability to distill complex systems (distributed storage, ML pipelines, LLM agents, etc.) into readable and structured content.
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering, product, and design leadership on high-impact strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional written English and storytelling skills, including visual structuring (tables, diagrams, workflows).
  • Comfortable using and documenting AI/ML technologies, cloud-native architectures, and developer-facing APIs or SDKs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, MLOps platforms, or GenAI ecosystems (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face).
  • Prior experience writing for support teams, product managers, or customer-facing technical guides.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools (Markdown, Confluence, DITA, Mermaid, etc.) and AI-enhanced authoring assistants.
  • Exposure to insight delivery platforms, observability tools, or natural language-driven user interfaces.

This position requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.

Success Metrics - First 30 Days Rapid Onboarding
  • Complete deep dives on Infinia architecture, AI end-to-end app flows, and augmented insight strategies.
  • Shadow at least 3 cross-functional meetings with senior leadership and capture key takeaways for future documentation.
Early Deliverables
  • Deliver 2-3 critical documents (e.g., solution briefs, runbook drafts, RCA templates) in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Propose improvements to the internal documentation process, structure, or format.
Strategic Alignment
  • Present a content roadmap that outlines the top priority docs, enablement guides, and high-impact writing initiatives.
  • Begin building a reusable content library (glossary, prompt bank, architecture templates, etc.).
Success Metrics - Beyond 30 Days
  • Time-to-publish for critical documentation consistently under SLAs.
  • Leadership and team feedback on clarity, usefulness, and consistency of written outputs.
  • Adoption of templates, content frameworks, or messaging by cross-functional teams.
  • Measurable reduction in repetitive communication through centralized, high-quality documentation.

Join us to help shape how the next generation of AI-powered systems is understood, explained, and experienced - not just by engineers, but by everyone they empower.

Apply now to write the story behind the intelligence.

Join our dynamic and driven team, where engineering excellence is at the heart of everything we do. We seek individuals who love to challenge themselves and are fueled by curiosity. Here, you'll have the opportunity to work across various areas of the company, thanks to our flat organizational structure that encourages hands-on involvement and direct contributions to our mission.
