Cape Fox, subsidiary Mountain Point is seeking a qualified Environmental Engineer. The Environmental Engineeruses engineering principles and environmental science to address pollution, public health, and sustainability issues, designing solutions for environmental problems like waste management, water quality, and air pollution. This team member will also assist with U.S. Army policy requirements to maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO). Other duties may be assigned as needed in the future by management. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager for Mountain Point, a construction company. Work will be performed primarily at a federal project site in Savannah GA. General construction work will include operations and maintenance, IT and physical security upgrades; electrical, plumbing and HVAC; and demolition.

The Assistant Project Manager will support the management of the Contractor Health and Safety Program (for purposes of this requirement, the Health and Safety Program is equivalent to Safety and Occupational Health Program in EM 385-1-1, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual).

Primary work will be supporting construction efforts on U.S. Government contracts at federal installations and facilities.

Duties include:



  • Land assessments for industrial sites for environmental impact.
  • Uses specialized equipment to test soil, water, and air for environmental impact
  • Improve waste management system design
  • Find better solutions for site cleanup
  • Evaluate current systems and design innovative ways to improve or replace the existing systems or processes
  • Investigate, record and compile reports for environmental-related complaints
  • Pollution control and waste treatment planning
  • Develop guidelines for the disposal of hazardous materials
  • Act as the regulatory arm for company compliance
