Purpose of Role:

This role will be responsible for problem-solving unique situations, taking control of urgent issues, and being the gatekeeper for the Executive Director.

The post holder will strategically prioritise to ensure conflicting priorities are effectively managed, as well as analysing information, preparing reports, and preparing presentations for a variety of meetings - both internally and externally.

Responsible for:
  • Establishing and developing relationships with external senior stakeholders, in order to enable quality and influential connections

  • Securing key meetings with senior leaders at prospective clients, supporting the preparation of materials in order to influence

  • Attending leadership and client conferences / events, actively networking with an eye to develop relationships and generate new and/or existing opportunities

  • Managing a complex calendar, with the ability to prioritise and understand the bigger picture, and the impact of conflicting priorities

  • Analysing and managing the flow and exchange of information, creating reports and other content, tailoring communications dependant on the audience on behalf of the Executive Director

  • Arranging domestic and international travel, including itineraries, meeting material prep, and expense reporting

  • Supporting members of the Work & Family leadership team, as needed

Essential Experience:
  • Previous experience supporting a senior leader, in a fast-paced environment

  • Working closely with senior executives and senior stakeholders

  • Client engagement, and the sales process of approaching prospective clients

  • Securing top-level meetings for growth opportunity

Experience Desirable:
  • Experience working in a global, publicly trading organisation

Qualifications:
  • Qualified to degree (or equivalent) level, within a related subject

Personal attributes:
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build constructure working relationships with stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and external partners

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to build influential relationships through a variety of channels, including in person, telephone and email

  • Ability to analyse information and data

  • Accountable and outcome driven

  • Resourceful team player, with the ability to work independently.

  • Effectively time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and flexibility to manage multiple projects seamlessly

  • Ability to work with high levels of confidentiality and discretion

  • Willingness to travel, when required

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $40,095.00 - $45,000.00 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
