Job Overview

As a Financial Control Intern, you will assist the Internal Control Manager in maintaining and assessing the effectiveness of Getinge's internal control framework. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop an understanding of how to document various financial process and assess the related internal controls. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to the concepts, tools, and systems used in internal control assessment and compliance.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties



  • Assist with the documentation of the Company's various inventory cycle/audit count processes and assessment of correlating internal controls. (25%)
  • Participate in the annual Company Self Assessment (CSA) of internal controls. (25%)
  • Collaborate with departments to facilitate remediation plans for internal control observations. (25%)
  • Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required. (25%)



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other financial software (knowledge of ERP systems a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.


  • Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and financial control processes.
