We are seeking a Financial Officerfor a sales focused role responsible for marketing and promoting all of the organizations core products to an assigned producer customer segment. The incumbent will be highly organized and develop an in-depth understanding of each customer and prospect's current financial position and operational plan in order to provide innovative and workable product and service alternatives and meet established sales goals.Focusing on service and retention by quickly and effectively completing requests and building holistic relationships with customers and prospects for sales, marketing and promoting of all company's core products.



  • Design innovative customer packages, advising customers on financial information, and competitively pricing loans based on risk and profitability. The role also includes servicing assigned portfolios and developing business plans to increase market share, promoting and selling loan products, cross-selling all of the Association's products and services, and supporting an unrivaled customer experience based on core principles and teamwork. Develop a professional presence within assigned segment through participation in commodity groups and networking with agricultural industry knowledge contacts. Contribute to the Associations' image as the leading ag financial institution.
  • May serve as the initial officer to engage with both incoming phone calls and walk in traffic seeking new credit.
  • Discuss credit packages with Analysts and participate in consensus decision making process when appropriate. Advise customers of loan decisions and provide expert advice and counsel to the customer related to their financial position and future credit needs.
  • Collect necessary financial information and documents while providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, and completing key responsibilities timely. The primary focus being a development and learning period. Key focus areas would typically include understanding of our processes, initiating underwriting and selling skills, and building the foundation for a successful Financial Officer career. This officer has limited business development responsibilities. Travel for this role will be limited with up to 5% travel for interoffice and training related needs.
