Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform basic assembly and installation of sheet metal components under the supervision of skilled workers
  • Prepare, maintain, and operate tools, equipment, and machinery; assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment to and from job sites
  • Assist in the measuring, cutting, and shaping of sheet metal materials
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure all work areas are clean and free from hazards
  • Learn and apply basic principles of blueprints and schematic reading
  • Assist experienced professionals in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems


Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Requirements

  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to read and interpret manufacturer instructions and effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and team members
  • Commitment to continuous learning; actively seeks to enhance HVAC skills through self-study, training, workshops, and professional development opportunities
  • Ability to perform efficiently in time-sensitive situations non-standard schedules, extreme weather, and varying customer demands
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel: some out of town travel may be required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work overhead, kneel, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and perform work on elevated platforms
  • Ability to work in various environments, including hot, cold, and noisy conditions
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and machinery
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, when necessary
