BeyondTrust Engineer needed for a Direct Hire opportunity with SOC's client to work remote.

*Candidate must have an active Public Trust clearance to be considered for this role.

Job Description:

A BeyondTrust Engineer is an individual who can operate independently and will be entrusted with delivering success for the client's customers to achieve predetermined goals aligned with a statement of work. To be successful in this role, a BeyondTrust Engineer will be expected to specialize in a capability aligned with the client's service practices while also contemplating which future opportunities they would like to explore. They will be expected to execute all tasks provided in a statement of work in a timely fashion and to communicate any unexpected complexities that may arise to senior leadership. This individual may be the most senior engineer on a project and will be expected to assist Associate and Level I Engineers with tasking. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as these individuals will interact with clients regularly.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Have an advanced understanding of the chief technologies (BeyondTrust Password Safe Administration) they will be responsible for.
  • Have an initial understanding of major technologies that will surround the chief technology in their environment.
  • Possess the ability to make sense of complex information to effectively solve problems, reaching out to mentors for guidance when necessary and providing mentoring to Associate and Level I Engineers who may require it.
  • Spend 5% of their time focusing on developing corporate strategy, assisting with brand identity, and support operations.
  • Spend 10% of their time focusing on training and fine-tuning skills.
  • Spend 85% of their time on engagement delivery.


What we're looking for:

Engagement Delivery

  • Execute all tasks outlined in the scope of work and follow standard operating procedures with minimal oversight.
  • Work with clients to analyze and understand their needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers on more complex engagements.
  • Aid Associate and Level I Engineers on sophisticated tasking.
  • Prepare to lead technical discussions with the client in the event a Senior Engineer is not present on an engagement.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during and after project implementation.
  • Serve as a level of mentorship for Associate and Level I Engineers.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams or engineers as necessary.
  • Document project progress, issues, and resolutions in a concise and timely manner.
  • Consistently self-review work to identify and improve approaches for producing high-quality work.


Sales and Client Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to availability standards for responding to client inquiries.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to clients.
  • Identify and communicate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with the account team across services.


Talent Development

  • Demonstrate proactive engagement in obtaining and maintaining certifications and cultivating technical proficiency in accordance with industry standards.
  • Provide input to leadership on needed training and development.
  • Proactively engage with mentors for assistance and guidance as necessary.
  • Shadow colleagues and actively participate in practical exercises within the company's lab while not assigned to an engagement.


Strategy, Brand Leadership, and Operations

  • Begin contributing to broader thinking about engagement delivery.
  • Document work streams, lessons learned and create new Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide Architecture and design deliverables support.
  • Install and con?gure the in-scope BeyondTrust Password Safe On-Premises solution.
  • Perform ongoing informal knowledge transfer as part of the engagement, focusing on overviews of the solution(s), data and permissions structure, master policy, and support procedures.


Requirements:

  • Currently holds a Public Trust Clearance
  • Hold and maintain an industry security certification (Security+, CISSP, etc) - IATII Mandate
  • Experience operating in secured environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or at least 6 years of related work experience.
  • Experience deploying and administering BeyondTrust Password Safe solution.
  • Experience integrating BeyondTrust Password Safe with existing 3rd party solutions.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access control technologies and methodologies
  • Strong understanding and experience in Unix and Linux operating systems
  • Initial understanding of leadership concepts and ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs. - max 10% but no travel is expected.

Employment Prerequisites

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.

Estimated Min Rate: $140000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $200000.00
