Laboratory Assistant (Part-Time), Pathology & Laboratory Medicine

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire a part-time Laboratory Assistant to assist with processing blood samples. Primary duties include:

* Processing blood samples to extract plasma

* Extracting cell-free DNA from plasma samples

* Maintaining biospecimen inventories

Note: The funding for the position is a one-time funding, of eighteen (18) months or less.

Salary Range: $19.90/hour - $23.04/hour

* Basic understanding of molecular biology

* Typing and data entry skills
