POSITION SUMMARY

The Video Content Specialist will provide support for the development of video and photographic content that engages consumers, patients, employees and candidates for employment. The specialist must have animations and graphics experience, as well as the ability to keep projects on deadline and on budget. The specialist should also have experience shooting and editing both video and photography. This position reports to the video/photo content supervisor and is a member of the brand identity and creative services team.

This specialist must be able to work with and edit stock video, music and audio tracks, and contribute as needed to the content library. The specialist will support the supervisor in setting up shoot environments. A love for crafting stories by creating new, interesting visuals is a must.


Responsibilities

  • Direct, shoot, edit, and produce high quality creative videos
  • Logistics and planning for video shoots - props, set management, location scouting, shot planning, equipment management and procurement, talent management, scheduling
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams and other key stakeholders to produce the appropriate video story-telling solutions- assist with creative concepts and storyboarding
  • Assist the supervisor with the establishment of standard studio settings for video production at corporate office and local sites
  • Contribute content to libraries for video, photographic and sound for both stock images and original content
  • Pre-production support
  • Post-production support for editing; encode files for use with editing for social content platforms including Facebook and Instagram
  • Setting up and shooting video - cameras, lighting, sound, etc.
  • Editing and post-production - color correction, editing footage and sound files; adding music and audio tracks, sourcing and using stock footage, creating graphics and effects
  • Equipment management and maintenance
  • Proficiency with video and photographic equipment and software as well as additional tools like lighting, sound mixing, etc.
  • Produce a variety of styles of videos and create innovative videos that communicate a brand style

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, graphic design, film, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a video production environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to create animated graphics for video is a plus
  • Proficiency with video and photographic equipment as well as additional tools like lighting, sound mixing, etc, preferred
