JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Readiness Institute at Penn State is seeking a skilled and dedicated Program Appreciative Inquiry Analyst to join our team. This role involves collecting and analyzing data and completing a formal program appreciative inquiry to evaluate the strengths, potential, and challenges of our project. The findings will be shared with partners and the RK Mellon Foundation to facilitate learning and improvement.

This position is located at the Franco Harris Pittsburgh Center at Penn State in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough data collection and analysis related to the project's planning and implementation phases.
  • Employ qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather meaningful insights.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize the project's outcomes, strengths, areas for improvement, and potential.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to gather feedback and integrate diverse perspectives into the inquiry process.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, program evaluation, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics); a Master's degree is preferred.
