JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Readiness Institute at Penn State is seeking a part time Multimedia Information Analyst to assist in the collection and analysis of multimedia data for our ongoing projects. This role is critical in supporting our team's efforts to document and evaluate the project's impact through various forms of media.

This position is located at the Franco Harris Pittsburgh Center at Penn State in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect multimedia content related to the project, including videos, photographs, and digital recordings.
  • Analyze multimedia data to identify key themes, trends, and insights that contribute to understanding the project's impact.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a comprehensive multimedia library for easy access and reference.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and relevance of collected data.
  • Prepare summary reports that highlight findings from the multimedia data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling and analyzing multimedia content.
  • Proficient in using media editing and analysis software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Relevant training or education in Media Studies, Information Technology, or a related field.
