We are looking for someone who can use data to craft strategies and solutions to join our team.
This Business Intelligence - Senior Manager will be responsible for working with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support business Tax supporting strategies. You will identify and compile data sets using various tools (e.g., SQL, BI Tools) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business outcomes on our tax filings. You will also be responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection/processing/cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, which may include utilizing statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques.

Though the primary goal of this Business Intelligence - Senior Manager is to determine the best methods to accurately identify and collect Tax data, assisting in systems integration is also important.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving new product development and launches with data-driven insights.

• Evaluating and testing various alternative approaches and recommending the path forward.

• Performing advanced analytics, modeling, and data mining to develop insights on our business.

• Supporting the Product team with decisions related to new concepts based on data analytics.

• Monitoring performance, reporting, and ongoing ad-hoc metrics in reports, presentations, and dashboards targeted to the situation and audience.

You believe that proven data should be behind every important decision. You are a numbers person but you also have a strategic approach. You bring both business perspective and an understanding of the marketplace-and not just theory and numbers. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so that people can understand. People trust you based upon your thoughtful and detailed analyses.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Behavior/predictive analysis and/or data analytics development experience.

• Data visualization and transformation software (ideally Qlik, SAP Webi, and Alteryx).

• Analytics experience in the financial sector.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.

• MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative field.

• Balanced the needs of multiple partners.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (SQL, Python).
