Department OverviewMotorola Solutions, Inc. Job Description
  • On mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) deployments, maintain and administer network solutions across multiple carrier environments, including land mobile radio implementations.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity and network protection modules in the MCPTT environment to protect network framework from external and internal threats.
  • Manage live production in broadband system networks using ISO standards.
  • Administer telecommunication network management tools.
  • Deploy proprietary gateway solutions capable of interworking between existing land mobile radio networks with broadband MCPTT network solutions.
  • Manage third party systems.
  • Integrate billing framework with carrier mediation servers.
  • Plan and execute software updates onto the production MCPTT carrier environments, and scale new hardwares as per requirements.
  • Execute test suite to validate the functionality of MCPTT communication and file sharing network features after updating the MSI environment to newer software releases.
  • Evaluate client software on handset devices with different operating systems.
  • Integrate MCPTT services with session initiated protocol (SIP) gateways to enable communication between applications and fixed-line telephones.
  • Manage Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) integration from the MCPTT platform towards different carrier networks.
  • Complete bug reporting and tracking tools on day-to-day activities.

Target Base Salary Range: $118,685 - $120,900 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
