Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain building automation systems using the Honeywell Niagara Framework (including Niagara 4)
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to design and implement automation solutions for new and existing building systems
- Integrate third-party systems with Niagara-based BAS, ensuring compatibility with HVAC, lighting, energy management, and other building systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within building automation systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support and training to building owners, facility managers, and other stakeholders on the BAS operation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including system configurations, software versions, and technical support procedures
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with Honeywell Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 is preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting control, energy management, and other building systems
- Proficient in BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and other communication protocols
- Strong programming skills (e.g., JACE, Workbench, and other related tools)
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and diagnostics tools for BAS systems
- Niagara Certification (preferably N4 Certified) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and ensure high-quality work
Physical Requirements
