Title: Site Procurement Specialist - TXO Operations
Location: Lake Jackson, TX
Salary: $85,000 to $110,000
Schedule: Flexible schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week after 6 months in the role

Focus: The Site Procurement Specialist is responsible for for sourcing materials, parts, supplier's equipment, and services at the least cost and in compliance with Olin's policies and procedures.
Site Procurement Specialist Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible to deliver productivity throughout value added activities such as sourcing negotiations, enforcing contract usage at the sites, minimizing tails spend, driving process improvements, etc.
- Partners with Strategic Sourcing Procurement to ensure alignment and team work on goals and strategies for MRO, Equipment/Capital & Services.
- Responsible for negotiating MRO, Equipment, and Services at the best price, terms & conditions to maximize value generation for agreements in their scope.
- Responsible for sourcing activity for small/medium size Capital Projects, delivering productivity and best terms & conditions for Olin.
- Provides purchasing support for all plant turnarounds, ensuring timely support and value generation from sourcing activities.
- Provides operational support to the sites in scope, such as participating on audits, supplier improvement plans, expediting urgent purchases, etc.
Site Procurement Specialist Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree* in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or related discipline strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related procurement experience in a manufacturing/industrial work setting; chemical industry preferred
- High level of competence in negotiating contracts with vendors, including managing a competitive bid process
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead meetings and drive projects to closure within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office Products
- Good working knowlegde of SAP preferred
- Must have a good understanding of the 7 Step Strategic Sourcing Process
- Must be able to provide off-hour and weekend on-call service to the site, as necessary
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
