Sr. Analyst, Corporate Development and M&A

Overview:
The Sr. Analyst will report to the SVP of Corporate Development and M&A. Responsible for financial and strategic analysis of potential acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic alternatives in alignment with corporate objectives. The position is responsible for evaluating and aiding execution of merger, acquisition, and various other transactions on a global basis. This person will be involved in high visibility projects.

Scope:

The role will focus on the financial and technical domains in the Software industry and will partner with the extended Corporate Development and M&A team at Blue Yonder throughout a project. The candidate will support the company-wide execution and integration of inorganic strategies consistent with company growth objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for financial modeling processes for mergers, acquisitions and corporate development projects.
  • Establish appropriate models to analyze capital and debt structure, transaction profitability, monthly income statement/cash flow analysis, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, accretion/dilution and IRR analysis.
  • Prepare transaction and project related content to support communication to acquisition targets and senior management at Blue Yonder.
  • Participate in several aspects of an acquisition process, including: Initial strategy, deal identification, diligence with potential acquisition candidates on behalf of BY, structuring and closure.
  • Maintain an acquisition target database that is used as a basis for review, update and weekly comparison.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations describing the key attributes of growth opportunities, industry comps and target acquisitions.
  • Work collaboratively with finance and product team leaders to prepare and analyze financial models.
  • Support monitoring financial performance of acquired companies.
  • Participate in a variety of ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years business experience with experience in Investment Banking, M&A via corporate development, venture or private equity
  • Experience developing detailed acquisition models
  • Competence in creating complex financial models
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables
  • A detail-oriented perspective, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Unquestionable integrity in previous business transactions and sensitivity to confidentiality
  • Industry knowledge of enterprise software industry is a plus
  • MBA is a plus
About Corporate Development:The Blue Yonder Corporate Development team is the focal point of all of Blue Yonder's Mergers and Acquisitions and transformational growth opportunities from pipeline management and deal sourcing to managing the entire life cycle of deals from ideation/exploration to signing and closing. The Corporate Development team serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to executive leadership and business unit GMs to proactively understand and influence existing business strategies and growth initiatives. This includes development of business cases in support of transactions, construction of deal concepts, and execution of highly complex Mergers and Acquisitions transactions. Corporate Development team members will often lead broad, multi-functional matrixed senior teams that are assembled to work on specific transaction projects.

The salary range for this position is $104,669.00 to $151,665.00. USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
