LABORER DUTIES:

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Install/Fix SWPPP Materials.
• Install/Fixing construction fence, gates, and entrances to the project.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.
• Setting up temporary sump pumps and hose.
• Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
• Clean, sweep & maintain roads.
• Install and use fire hydrant water meters.
• Clean office trailers.
• Pump, place and finish concrete.
• Power wash concrete slabs/decks.
• Operate construction hoist.
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.

WORK CONDITIONS AND HOURS:

Conditions and hours

• Works on-site over rough terrain
• Requires overtime hours
• Often exposed to the elements
• Must be comfortable with travel on a need-to-need basis
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Some weekends are required
• Frequent activity of Standing, Kneeling, Walking, Climbing, Bending, reaching above Shoulders, Pushing, and Pulling
• Must be able to climb and work at heights above 6 feet

Work Experience

• One (1) year Construction Experience
