Position: Data Analyst



Location: REMOTE. Fountain Valley, CA.



Pay Range: $34-$40.80/hr.
(DOE).




** Must live within driving distance to Fountain Valley, CA.


** Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields.



The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing data analysis and reporting tasks using a variety of tools and technologies. This role requires experience in SQL, Python, Pandas, Alteryx, and working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and JavaScript for Adobe. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with APIs and compiling data into clear, actionable monthly reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data extraction and manipulation using SQL and relational databases.
  • Write and maintain a library of complex SQL queries and templates for reuse.
  • Conduct data analysis using Python and Pandas to support business needs.
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize data into structured monthly reports for key stakeholders.
  • Leverage Excel and PowerPoint to present insights, trends, and findings in a digestible format.
  • Use Alteryx workflows to automate and streamline data processing and transformation tasks.
  • Integrate and consume data from APIs to enhance reports and dashboards.
  • Utilize JavaScript for Adobe to automate and enhance report generation and document processing workflows.
  • Design and implement dashboards to track individual and team performance metrics.
  • Perform data trend analysis and provide insights to support business decisions and root cause investigations.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives by preparing and validating reports that highlight key metrics and areas for optimization.
  • Create and maintain documentation for technical specifications, business requirements, process flows, and reference materials.

Technical Skills:

  • SQL & Database Management:


    • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases for querying and managing data.
    • Experience maintaining a robust library of reusable SQL queries.


  • Data Analysis & Reporting:


    • Advanced data analysis using Python, Pandas, and Alteryx.
    • Strong experience in compiling monthly reports and other deliverables that translate data into actionable business insights.
    • Use of Excel for advanced data manipulation and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.


  • Dashboarding & Visualization:


    • Design and implementation of dashboards to display KPIs and productivity metrics.
    • Experience using data visualization tools and JavaScript for Adobe to enhance report presentation.



Automation & API Integration:

  • Familiarity with data automation processes using Alteryx, Python scripting, and Excel macros.
  • Experience working with APIs for real-time data integration and report generation.

Business & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong root cause analysis skills to identify patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
  • Experience in cost reduction and process optimization strategies.
  • Clear documentation of business processes and technical solutions to drive efficiency.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
