Description Acara solutions is looking for Electro-Mechanical assemblers for our partner located in San Leandro, CA who specializes in defense product manufacturing. Here is what you will get: Pay Rate: $30-$34/hr Schedule: 9/80 Schedule, employees work 9 out of every 14 days - Totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off. What you will be doing: Performs electrical and mechanical assembly work utilizing blueprints and operation sheets Uses standard hand tools and various epoxies to perform operations Perform work with microscopes for lengthy periods of time Interfaces with quality assurance and test personnel to ensure sub assemblies are inspected and tested at specified checkpoints performs hand soldering, wiring, and assembling small complex components Perform rework and repairs Performs limited, intermittent physical exertion. Works under acceptable conditions with some distraction due to occasional exposure to noise, dust, heat or chemicals Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Requires a High school diploma or a GED Minimum 7 years of electro-mechanical assembly Ability to read operation sheets and moderately complex blueprints Requires Soldering skills Knowledge of electronic components and color codes Ability to pass IPC J-STD-001 May be required to obtain a security clearance Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
