Job Title: Clinical Manager - Behavioral Health

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, provides daily operational and oversight for all aspects of Behavioral Health programming at Baptist Health Richmond. Provides oversight for the clinical behavioral health team. Works with the Director of Behavioral Health to plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate services for the psychiatric/chemical dependency programming, intensive outpatient program (IOP), and inpatient assessment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ensures proper documentation of assessments
  • Communicates needs of patients clearly to staff.
  • Directs plans & provides therapeutic services in accordance with patient diagnosis and needs.
  • Participates in the development of individual treatment plans for each patient.
  • Participates in individual, group and family psychotherapy when indicated.
  • Serves as active member of the Interdisciplinary Team
  • Recruits, interviews and selects qualified clinical behavioral health team, as well as any new programs.
  • Ensures clinical/therapeutic services address all patient care needs applicable to regulatory requirements & staffing plan.
  • Provides for professional growth and development of clinical staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans & participation in training programs.
  • Provides oversight / audits progress notes and assessments of patients
  • Documents all clinical behavioral health activities and interventions in accordance with regulatory mandates/requirements, and organizational standards and policies, maintaining confidentiality of patient/physician/personnel information.
  • Documents reported cases involving legal issues, Child/Adult Protective and Domestic Violence reports, criminal behavior or other high-risk issues, where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Licensure and Certification in Social Work (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), in the state of Kentucky is required.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Computer Literacy. Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal. Excellent Customer Service and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates Age-Appropriate Skills and Knowledge.
